Knowing Jesus: It’s All About Life

Ben Maxson, DMin, delivered a compelling message titled “It’s All About Jesus” at his 9:15 a.m. seminar. This engaging talk about the necessity of initiating a relationship with Christ launched

a multi-part series titled “Knowing Jesus,” which will continue daily through Friday.

Maxson drew a parallel between the need for regular sustenance to maintain the physical body and the spiritual body, stating, “I don’t see anyone surviving on one meal a week.” Relying solely on attending church once a week cannot fully satisfy our spiritual needs. Just as the body requires food multiple

times a day, our souls also require continuous nourishment to foster a strong relationship with Christ. Maxson emphasized the importance of a consistent walk with Christ, noting that dedicating only one day a week to Christ will not keep us on the path He intends for us. He referenced John 17:3: “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

Maxson’s seminar is located at the Lambuth Inn in the International Room every morning at 9:15 a.m. Come discover the foundations of building a relationship with Jesus Christ and how God can help you meet your spiritual needs.
