The ACBC bookstore is a camp meeting staple, offering a variety of special events and resources throughout the week. From author signings to children’s story times and daily food demonstrations, it has become more than just a place to browse books—it’s a gathering place for inspiration and connection.
One featured event took place today at 12:30 p.m., when Dan Serns hosted a special book signing. Guests had the opportunity to meet him personally and explore his written works alongside books from other camp meeting speakers, including Jill Morikone and David Klinedinst.
Families and children found a unique storytelling experience in the junior department. For the first time, Stanley Maxwell and his daughter shared stories together drawn from his books. These intergenerational sessions offer young listeners meaningful lessons and memorable adventures rooted in faith and family heritage.
In addition to books and storytelling, daily food demonstrations during the lunch hour offered practical ideas for healthy, flavorful meals. These presentations drew steady interest from guests eager to learn new recipes and nutrition tips they can use at home.
Special sales were also available throughout camp meeting. Visitors can also browse a large selection of half-priced used books, making it easy to discover meaningful reads at an affordable price.
And let’s not forget possibly the biggest selling item every year at camp meeting...the fruit bar! Who can resist popping in and picking up one of these refreshing cold treats between meetings on a warm day?
Whether guests are searching for spiritual encouragement, family activities, or practical health resources, the camp meeting bookstore offers something for every age throughout the week. There’s still one more chance to pick up those last items on Saturday night after the last meeting. See you there!
