Thursday evening’s children’s concert at Stuart Auditorium filled the room with music, laughter, and enthusiastic participation as the Kindergarten and Primary divisions shared songs they had been practicing throughout the week.
The children performed alongside recorded accompaniment and a lively ensemble featuring guitar, accordion, and upright bass. The atmosphere was energetic from beginning to end. Hands were raised during interactive songs, voices rang out confidently through the auditorium, and children watched the musicians with excitement and focus. Audience members smiled, clapped, and often joined in as familiar songs filled the room.
Interactive moments such as “The Sower” and classics like “This Little Light of Mine” encouraged participation from both children and adults, helping create an atmosphere that felt both meaningful and joyful. Leaders shared that one of the goals of the children’s divisions this year was to help children connect positive memories with worship, music, and learning about Jesus.
In Wednesday’s Today, we highlighted the Kindergarten class and their “Flight 3:16” themed program. The Primary class, led by Delaney Fox, has focused this week on “keeping our eyes on Jesus,” echoing the Camp Meeting theme, We Shall Behold Him. Through Bible stories, worship activities, songs, and classroom discussions, the children have been learning more about God’s love and His desire to be their close friend and guide.
Beyond music, the week’s programming has emphasized spiritual growth, friendship, and confidence-building experiences for the children attending. Leaders said they hope the lessons and memories from Camp Meeting will continue encouraging the children long after the week concludes.
Together, the Kindergarten and Primary programs offered a rich blend of worship, creativity, learning, and joyful participation, making the children’s concert one of the highlights of Camp Meeting week for many families.
