The Prayer of Faith

If prayer is power, then that means there’s a large group of campers here on at Junaluska who are all powered up. Late monday evening these expectant prayer warriors poured into the Stone Chapel for a special prayer and anointing service. Some came with health-related needs, others came for counsel, all came for prayer.

Pastors huddled at the front of the chapel with those requesting prayer as they laid their matters out before the Lord. Pastors listened to each matter and lifted the matters up to God with each member. Each parishioner was anointed with oil, as oil represents the power of the Holy Spirit. The next prayer and anointing service is immediately following evening worship on Friday night.
