At Carolina Camp Meeting 2025, more than a hundred young people are gathering at the Youth meetings. This week has been filled with a mix of thoughtful discussion, hands-on activities, and meaningful outreach. From day one, Chad and Fadia Kreuzer have been sharing how Jesus can make a real difference in people’s lives. They explained that spiritual brokenness can also impact the brain physically, and that addressing spiritual issues can help overcome addictions and other challenges. Throughout the week, the couple has connected ideas from the health message, the Sabbath, the gospel, and the many gifts God offers, lessons that modern science is beginning to affirm.
During the week, Fadia shared her personal story. She recalled how being hurt by a relative—someone who should have protected her—left deep emotional scars. Yet through faith, she found healing and strength. Her testimony resonated with many of the youth, showing that even the deepest wounds can be healed through God’s help.
The week hasn’t been all discussion, though. On Wednesday, 104 youth took part in a rafting trip down the Nantahala River. The group enjoyed a relaxed journey with a fun stop halfway for pizza on the return trip. Community is an important part of healing, too!
Overall, the youth program has balanced meaningful reflections on faith and science with opportunities for outdoor recreation and connection. The combination of clear teaching, personal stories, and shared experiences has created an environment where young people can learn, grow, and have fun. Faith can be lived out in everyday actions, alongside moments of adventure and friendship.
If you’re between the ages of 15 and 18 and are interested in exploring how faith meets real life, keep an eye out for upcoming sessions and activities at Carolina Camp Meeting.
