Two food trucks are parked at Lake Junaluska’s Bethea Welcome Center for the entire week! If you are craving a quick bite, Tahini Jar and Shredded Smoothie are just what you’re looking for. These food trucks are open for business from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (or until they sell out) Monday through Thursday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
Tahini Jar specializes in Middle Eastern Fusion cuisine, and some of their popular options include the Falafel Pita, Beyond Kofta Pita, Falafel Platter, Shawarma Seasoned Fries, along with various sides and baklava.
Shredded Smoothie’s offerings include Mighty Mango, Pretty in Peach, Berry Berry, and Lean Mean Green. They blend tasty fruits and plant milks into a refreshing, sugar-free treat, and they will even add whey protein for an extra boost of nourishing goodness.
