This week, the Juniors class at Camp Meeting 2025 is rolling into faith, fun, and unforgettable memories! With a theme centered around “Keeping It Real” with God, the kids are diving into topics like communication, priorities, and living a transformed life—through hands-on learning, laughter, and a little bit of slime.
Emory Moore is leading the spiritual charge, sharing practical and inspiring truths from his military background and his walk with Christ. His down-to-earth messages are connecting with kids in a real way, encouraging them to build a deeper relationship with God.
Throughout the week, campers are also exploring the wonders of creation—literally! Amy Abernathy is sparking curiosity through homemade slime, glow stick fun, and even electrical experiments, helping the young people better understand the brilliance of their Creator. Meanwhile, Vanessa Arana is guiding them through meaningful crafts that reflect the beauty of being made in God’s image.

Recreation time, led by Grant Walters, brings energy and joy, giving kids a chance to grow closer to each other and to Christ as they play. From high-energy games to heartfelt teamwork in small groups, every activity is filled with purpose.
The entire Juniors team, led by Pastor Evan Bujaker, is pouring God’s love into the children through interactive Bible-based games like Bible Story Chain, Human Knot, and the Bible Action Relay, teaching teamwork and spiritual truths in a way kids won’t forget.
A highlight of the week was Tuesday’s all-day outing to the Smoky Mountain Sk8way in Waynesville. Between neon skates, limbo contests, and pizza-fueled fun, the kids had a blast! A heartwarming moment came when a young person found money on the floor and immediately turned it in to a staff member so it could be returned to its owner—evidence that God is planting honesty, integrity, and faith in these young hearts.
As the week continues, so does the planting of seeds—seeds of gratitude, surrender, and faith that will grow long after camp meeting ends.
