Family conflicts. Government intervention. Expensive legal fees. Long court processes. God’s work being forgotten.

These are some of the common challenges families face when loved ones pass away without leaving a written plan explaining what should happen to their belongings.

Often, people delay planning because they feel they are too young or believe they do not own enough to make it necessary.

This is where the Planned Giving and Trust Services Department of the Carolina Conference can help.

Their team offers free assistance, with no strings attached, to help individuals create a plan that honors their wishes and provides peace of mind both for themselves now and for their loved ones later.

Meetings with them can be arranged to be in-person, online, or over the phone at a time and place convenient for you.

In addition, they can help members explore financial stewardship opportunities such as the Southern Union savings account, which currently offers a 3.5% APR. Funds deposited into this program become part of the revolving fund pool used to provide loans to Adventist churches and schools across the Southern Union as they expand their ministry and outreach.

If you would like to learn more about these services, ask questions about your situation, or review your current plan, you can visit the department this week from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Harrell Center, first room on the left after entering the main entrance. No documents are needed for the initial visit.

There you will find three friendly professionals ready to assist you in a respectful and confidential manner.

If you would prefer to connect first by phone or email, you may contact them at: 803-240-3526 or trust@carolinasda.org
