Juniors are Fun!

This week the Junior building has been filled with 60-70 energetic children between the ages of 10 and 12 who are eager to learn. The daily schedule for the Junior department includes a morning meeting, afternoon recreation, and an evening meeting. At the morning and evening meetings, the young people gather for worship, engaging activities, and lessons about God. Assisting with the Junior program are members of the Mount Pisgah Academy (MPA) recruiting team, composed of current students at MPA, who lead the activities. These activities range from games of tag and water balloon competitions to scrambling around like crabs on their hands and feet.

Guest speaker Xavier Baca has been a source of inspiration by sharing his personal testimony, demonstrating that God can work in each person’s life. He supports his message by sharing relevant Bible verses and stories, which encourages a sense of reliance on God and His perpetual presence. In the evening, prior to worship, Baca invites the Juniors to express their prayers and share what they are grateful for. Numerous attendees have shared how they have witnessed God working in their lives throughout the week.
