About the Role
1. Coordinate with the Aquatics Director all Lesson Plans, scheduling of days off, and special aquatic events.
2. Initiate strict safety guidelines for aquatics activities.
3. Maintain and secure all equipment in good/safe working order.
4. Encourage and practice strict water safety programs.
5. Lead out in the Water Olympics or special pool activities.
6. Be available, helpful and active evening programs.
7. Complete daily cleaning duty by assigned time each day.
Requirements
1. Basic knowledge of water safety and instruction skills.
2. Familiarity with Adventist Youth Honors and Red Cross Progressive levels of swimming instruction.
3. Hold a current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate, Lifeguard Instructors Certificate and/or Water Safety Instructor Certificate.
4. Ability to patiently communicate and demonstrate skills.
