About the Role
1. Assist in teaching swimming classes and life guarding as assigned.
2. Assist in implementing strict safety guidelines for the aquatics activities.
3. Maintain all equipment in good/safe working order.
4. Assist in keeping records of attainment for all students.
5. Encourage and practice strict water safety programs.
6. Assist Pool Director in Water Olympics or special activities.
7. Be available, helpful and active evening programs.
8. Complete daily cleaning duty by assigned time each day.
Requirements
1. Basic knowledge of water safety and instruction skills.
2. Familiarity with Adventist Youth Honors and Red Cross Progressive levels of swimming instruction.
3. Hold a current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate, Lifeguard Instructors Certificate and/or Water Safety Instructor Certificate.
4. Ability to patiently communicate and demonstrate skills.
