at Nosoca Pines Ranch
About the Role
1. Outline Lesson Plan to teach crafts classes that meets Nosoca’s ministry and safety guidelines as well as ACA standards. Present Lesson Plan to Curriculum Director for review during staff week.
2. Initiate strict safety procedures for craft room and equipment.
3. Maintain all equipment in good/safe working order and secure all equipment when not in use.
4. Keep records of attainment for all students.
5. Offer a variety of crafts to generate camper’s interest.
6. Supervise all craft personnel.
7. Keep craft room clean and neat.
8. Inventory all equipment at beginning and end of summer.
9. Be available, helpful and active at camp council and evening programs.
10. Complete daily cleaning duty by assigned time each day.
Requirements
1. Advanced knowledge of arts and crafts.
2. Familiarity with a variety of Adventist Youth arts and crafts honors.
3. Ability to patiently communicate and demonstrate skills.
4. Ability to manage people, organize, safe and effective craft program, and relate positively in interpersonal relationships.
