About the Role

1. Outline Lesson Plan to teach Mt. Lore classes that meet Nosoca’s ministry and safety guidelines as well as ACA standards. Present Lesson Plan to Curriculum Director for review during staff week.
2. Teach Mt. Lore classes with strong use of nature and wilderness survival skills including Native American and pioneer skills, keeping records of attainment for each student.
3. Initiate strict safety program including security and safety of all equipment.
4. Maintain all equipment in good/safe working order.
5. Be responsible to have ANature Nugget@ for Camp Councils and various Sabbath activities as needed.
6. Inventory all equipment at beginning and end of summer.
7. Be available, helpful and active at camp council and evening programs.
8. Complete daily cleaning duty by assigned time each day.

Requirements

1.    Basic knowledge of the natural world, demonstrating a desire to preserve and protect the environment and God’s creation.

 

2.    Knowledge and desire to learn and teach early American skills.

 

3.    Ability to patiently communicate and demonstrate skills.
